F to Coney Island

Of the four subway lines that go out to Coney Island, I think I prefer the F. It goes above ground right after Church Avenue, and gives you a nice view of all of central Brooklyn as you go south. At Bay Parkway, the line crosses a fairly large cemetery-- if you get out and walk towards the end of the platform, you can get a nice shot facing East. There are some more good views at the end of the ride, just before Stillwell Avenue, when the train moves parallel to the Cyclone, Wonder Wheel, and other rides. But if you want to take pictures of that stuff, you're better off waiting until the ride back, because the shots are better from that side of the track.
