Here are a bunch of pix that didn't quite make the cut for Bluejake the last few months. From the top: from the top of the Batcave in Gowanus, a house in Fort Greene, a building at Floyd Bennett Field, Cranberry Street / Water Street, fog in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and a ready-made piece by Specter in Bed-Stuy.
i think in the first image, i was inspired by sam's far superior shot from the same angle: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fiveoftoast/364988512/sizes/l/

so with that specter piece, he whitewashed the building except for the squares?

yep- it's a pretty conceptual piece. when i first rode by on my bike, i was like "wtf- there's nothing here." but then i saw it and it grew on me.

technically sam's shot you linked to has better mood light but i prefer your composition with the foreground and distancing of the city (wider angle i guess?). sam's shot has alot of beauty where yours exposes that harsh light and coldness of a stale rusted brown northeast winter.
