We were in Israel for the last couple of weeks, visiting family and introducing Max and our NYC friends Bill and Thuy to the country. For most of the time we were in Tel Aviv, but we did visit Akko and Rosh Hanikrah in the north. And at the end of the trip we spent a couple of days at Kalia, the kibbutz where Karen's aunt and uncle live, and then a weekend in Jerusalem. The atmosphere in the country seemed relaxed and more hopeful than it was the last time I visited, in 2007- maybe because of the current peace talks.
Related: some streetart pix I took while I was in Tel Aviv, and some outtakes and family shots.
Jake, these are fantastic! I'm glad to see your vacation was an enjoyable one, and I await your future travels!
