June 15, 2002: Day 15 / Prague
9am Woke rested after 7 hours of sleep. Watching Discovery Channel while Karen shops for gifts with her mom.
11am Walked to internet cafe (Bohemian Bagel) and had a chicken bagel. Slight stomachache for the rest of the afternoon. Noticed Praguers were setting up some kind of triathalon course down Parizska Street.
1pm Lunch with Ilan, Donna, Eric, and Eric's good friend Ron (from Giza, in Israel) at an authentic Czech restaurant. Everyone had goulash, but because of the stomach I ate a little potato pancake. Said goodbye to Ilan and Donna in the Old Town Square- they were taking the car back to Frankfurt and then flying to LA.
3pm Back to Internet cafe for Karen to check her email. I read blogging sites and hung out.
4pm Back at Hotel, and then short walk to Charles Bridge in the midst of high wind and pouring rain. Saw first leg of triathalon- swimming- in the river as we walked quickly back to the hotel for a drink. Read about London and called David Schuiteman to schedule dinner for Monday night.
8pm Dinner with Ron and Eric at an Italian restaurant East of the Old Town Square.
10pm Packed and ready to go- flight to London at 8am- cab at six, wakeup at five.
