August 30, 2002: Remote Lounge

I had been meaning to try out the Remote Lounge for a few months, but it wasn't until Labor Day weekend that the opportunity finally rolled around. Anyone who remembers my various 1998 performances should realize that the sort of voyeuristic pleasures of the Remote Lounge would be right up my alley. Indeed, I enjoyed it very much, until I drank my fifth Cosmopolitan and accidently locked myself in the bathroom. The bouncer was not pleased when he had to come and talk me out.

Uhh...hmm...

Interesting...

Remote Lounge is a bit bright. I enjoyed it the novelty of the whole set up for 5 min before I wanted to leave. We were surrounded by college students that night. How is downstairs? They do have a downstairs right?

Yeah- apparently. Josh and I got there at like 10pm, and the place was pretty empty. There were three girls kissing at the front bar, so we watched them on twenty cameras for awhile. The place got bumping after 11:30pm- but it's definitely a novelty bar- like Chuck-E-Cheese.

Thise pictures are funny though...haha...
