I woke up this morning to find my Sony LCD monitor on the fritz. The malfunction was causing it to produce these beautiful liquid images. The problem seems to have been a loose plug, which I've since fixed.

Not so beautiful if it completely broke down.
My Sony monitor dd this today and it was not a loose connection.. I turned the monitor off and on again for it to go away but it seems to be reoccuring
Same thing happened here - wish it was a loose connection.
When turning on monitor the little button is green then turns orange. All connections were correct. What else could it be. It is an older 17 inch monitor
I have the same problem with my Sharp monitor. I tried a different monitor cable but it didn't help. Tightening the connections doesn't seem to have any effect either. I haven't been able to find any documentation of this issue anywhere else!
