February 8, 2003: Elementary School Riddle

The elementary school where K works was having it's annual winter fair today in Tribeca. I went down to hear her third graders perform "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on recorders- the entire concert lasted only 25 seconds but they still got a standing ovation. Unfortunately, that one song was sort of the limit of their repertoire, so they had to leave the audience asking for more. On the way back to her room, I saw this astounding picture hung outside the kindergarden room. For those of you who are curious, the answer to the riddle can be found in this picture.

Anorexic chelsea models would have also been an acceptible answer.
I'm going to propose that we have artwork like this at work. Like an image of pasta in a creamy cheese sauce that says "I am a heart attack on a plate. What am I?" Answer: "Fettucine Alfredo."
That's pretty darned cute.
