Continuing on my meditation from yesterday: people are always talking smack about how SoHo has turned into an outdoor mall, but they probably think SoHo means Prince Street and Broadway. My SoHo is someplace entirely different.
Well, there is something to be said about most of SoHo being mall like. West Broadway? Come on.
Please- the H. Stern that was coming in on Prince and Mercer couldn't even afford the rent. Now you know when the Argentinian diamond merchants can't afford the rent the neighborhood has become overpriced. I predict a sharp and sudden downhill crash for the neighborhood rents- that's when i'll sweep in and start buying lofts. It'll be just like a scene in the Warriors- hoods and web programmers wandering the streets looking for trouble.
