April 11, 2003: 14th Street, looking west
A couple of more from yesterday. After we walked through the Meat Packing District, we got dinner at Markt, which turned out to be better than expected. I recommend the beef stew or the hamburger- bar food. Beer? I just had a Hoegaarden, but Ez had some dark beer that came in a bottle. More sunset pictures from last month.

I like the mussels at Markt, which is like 70% of the menu. Moules frites, Hoegaarden, and sitting outside are the makings of a perfect evening.
Actually, the beer was a draft Leffe dark. It was also used in the stew and so formed the perfect companion to the meal.
