April 12, 2003: Grand Central Terminal, 12pm
I had occasion to be in Midtown on Saturday morning, so I decided to walk through Grand Central terminal. It looked like it always does, but there were some National Guard troops loitering around with large guns. I ended up in the NYC Transit Museum store and bought a token magnet. When they retire the subway token at midnight, it will be a piece of history.

I go through Grand Central everyday on my commute. It's the only good thing about taking the 2/3 (or the 1/9 if I'm desperate) to Times Square, and then taking the S shuttle to Grand Central. I hate that commute.
