May 25, 2003: Ward's Island
The last pictures I'll post from last weekend's skate route. I promise. These were taken on the south side of Ward's Island as I skated back toward the city. The first one is taken looking south toward the Queensboro Bridge. The others are of the Ward's Island pedestrian bridge, which is the only pedestrian bridge over the East River, I believe.

I like the lower two photos - it doesn't seem like New York, it seems like somewhere upstate or in the Midwest
i would like more pictures because i would like to know more about Ward's Island since the Ward brothers are my great-great-great grandfathers.
