May 30, 2003: Last days on 19th Street
From 1995-1997, I spent a lot of time in L's parent's loft on 19th Street. They sold it a couple of weeks ago, so we all got together for one last dinner there before things get packed up. I remember the first time I took the elevator to the 7th floor and looked out on all that raw space- it was the nicest apartment I had ever seen in New York. It still is.
Yeah, Steven Soderbergh was silly to let this apartment get by. I blame Jules Asner.
the thought of never being allowed to hang out at the b's apt on 19th makes me so depressed i can no longer type.
geez. I bet this thing would fit in there.
