These are pictures of my old room in Park Slope, circa 1992. I was a sophomore in high school at the time, and my friends and I had a fondness for the spray paint. My parents, being crazy beatniks, let me spray all four walls of my room with Krylon- largely with the windows and doors closed while we were doing it. Needless to say, many brain cells were lost. It was a hard room to sleep in, as you might imagine- I eventually had to move to another room on the top floor just to get some rest. They painted over the walls in 1998- but by then I had been living in the city for four years.
