A few days back K's great uncle and his girlfriend sent us our first wedding gift or engagement present. We're still trying to figure out what it is- paperweight, object d'art, etc, but it was really sweet of them to send it.

It's hard to determine the proper scale from that photo, so I am picturing your gift as a room-fillingly enormous heart-shaped coffee table. I bet it's actually smaller than that, right?
yeah- it's actually about 16 feet across- we had to move out the couch but we think it's a good look for the living room.

It's perrty. Although I would treat it as an object d'art, I think it is indeed an expensive paperweight, which is good, because one really shouldn't let papers fly all over the place of their own volition.
