Bluejake

After Saturday's visit to the chocolate show at the American Museum of Natural History, we visited the new Hall of Ocean Life. I was struck by the blue whale. He seemed slimmer than before, as if he had been working out. Also, he was less barnacled than before, with smoother lines. The whole room was renovated with super-expensive displays, and a roof that made it seem as if it's underwater. Still, I understood why some people miss the old room- the silent atmosphere is gone.
