People were out yesterday under the Manhattan Bridge. It put me in mind of the Eames' old Powers of 10, so I took these pictures.

hey! i live in the building right behind that lawn. i had no idea it was ready for lounging.

that's funny- we used to go to a lot of bar mitzvahs back in the late 1980s in the restaurant in your building- back then it was called the lighthouse or something like that.
nice! i didn't know the building had been around for that long (you're talking about the clocktower building, right?). i only moved in last year.
the latest incarnation of the restaurant, kino, was shut down recently for making too much noise, i think. before that, it was "les deux gamins"(?). it's a doomed space, although it has amazing views.
