July 3, 2003: Anthrax
I was on the case after some white powder was discovered in the Canal Street 1/9 Station. As everyone was standing around, two girls came up to me and asked what was going on. I told them it was a possible anthrax situation, and one of the girls turned to the other and said "Anthrax? That's soooo 2001." More at Gothamist.
