July 23, 2003: NYC Road Trip, Day 2
The road trip continued today, despite the thunderstorms and sleep deprivation caused by waking up at 7am to move the car. Itinerary:
1. Allerton Avenue in the Bronx (the house where my father grew up)
2. New York Botanical Gardens
3. Arthur Avenue (the best salami sandwich I have ever had)
4. Inwood
5. The cemetery where The Royal Tennenbaums ends
6. West Side drive back to SoHo
7. To Madison Square to get J, and then to LIC to walk on the piers
8. Dinner at the Waterfront Crab House
9. Drinks at Galapagos in Williamsburg

i see salami, mortadella, prosciutto, and one other pink meat of unknown origins.
