October 1, 2003: Under the bridge
I believe that the Manhattan Bridge is the most beautiful piece of architecture on the East River. The deep blue paint reminds me of a Yves Klein painting- and the simple, functional metal framework calls out to my proletarian sympathies. [More: at sunset, and from DUMBO]
