So of course, K and I went back to the cat show this morning and picked up a sibling to the cat my parents brought yesterday. He is just heartbreakingly cute, but we can't think of a name.

so i want to call the cat thompson, after the block where we live, thom yorke, and tom ripley. but karen isn't sure.

While I like Thompson, it's some of these other suggestions:
- Tony (as in Bourdain)
- Reed (as in Lou)
- Merritt (as in Stephen)
- Stinky Kitty (an ode to kitty's first hours as No-Name Dobkin)
- Zimmer (as in Don, the rabble-rousing fat Buddha of the Yankees)
- Martin (as in Steve)
- Murray (as in Bill)
- Eli Cash (as in Owen Wilson's character from The Royal Tenebaums)
- Dirk Calloway (Max Fischer's chapel partner in Rushmore)

aawww, so cute! you're making me jealous.

and as far as cat names, i live on Edgar Allen Poe St, so i'd suggest Edgar, but i always wanted to name a kitty Darcy as well, partially because of the Smashing Pumpkins chick, but also cause of Jane Eyre.

my 2 cats names are rivers & tokyo. be creative and have fun, kitties are the best - especially when they snuggle in your neck at night.

how about poop and stinky? man, can you imagine how cute that would be? and then when you feed them, you dump the food in a bowl and yell, "poop! stinky!" ha ha, that's great
