December 4, 2003: Stikfas

Kidrobot is my new favorite store- they just opened a location on Prince Street around the corner from my apartment, and I've been spending a lot of time there. If you are interested in cool toys, it's the place to be- the only similar store downtown is 360toys, and the Kidrobot collection seems larger. Today I bought some Stikfas figures- they're made by Hasbro and require an enormous amount of assembly. Basically you have to break the pieces out of the plastic frame, and then snap everything together. For these three figures, I probably spent about 2 hours working.

Damn that seems like a cool store. Do they have the mini-RC cars at the store, like on their website?
what can i say? seems like you have a lot of time on your hand
are you kidding? i consider assembling stikfas figure to be a mission of the highest importance. sure, it took a little time away from my cancer cure research, but i think the results speak for themselves.
Rad-o. I'm not the only stikfas fanatic it seems.
Hello,
I have seen something similar to the Stikfas they are called Shockinis made by Shocker Toys and we are having a contest on our site using them at http://www.customdungeon.com
They have a block figure that is customizable but its pre assembled we picked it up at a store listed on their site http://www.shockertoys.com an their forums http://forums.delphiforums.com/shockinis/start
The two of these figures are pretty cool the Stikfas and the Shockinis.
