Bluejake

For the last five years or so we've had the same Christmas tradition: take a cab to Park Slope for dinner with my parents (Chinese takeout), and then a drive down to Dyker Heights for the Christmas light displays. The lights are on 84th Street around 12th Avenue- but we always forget the exact location- this year we ended up on 18th Avenue and 86th Street before we figured it out. The light displays have been getting smaller- in years past, five or six houses were lit- this year, only four. [Related: Dyker Heights 2002, Holiday Lights book]
