Summer is still a few months away, but recruitment for summer MBA internships is in full swing. One of the large consulting firms was holding first round interviews for their New York office in Atlanta, so I flew down there for 24 hours. They say Atlanta is the most urban of all the southern cities, but after all these years in New York, it reminded me of cities in upstate New York- Syracuse, Binghamton. As I taxied back into the city last night, I looked out the window somewhere around Clinton and Delancey Street, and it occured to me that there is more going on in ten square blocks of LES than in most cities around the world. Travelling tip: if you happen to stop by the World of Coca-Cola museum, avoid the "Lychee-Mello". It does not, I repeat, does not, taste like Mellow-Yellow.

I'm sensing that cold beverages are big in Hotlanta

yes- it's surprising that g-love and special sauce wasn't more popular down in hotlanta, given their predilection for cold beverages.

Andre 3000 moved from Hottlanta to Brooklyn. That's where the Hot is, yo.

At first I thought Tats Cru had actually done a mural in Atlanta, but apparently it's just mounted on a wall. Whew.

Ew, expecting Mello-Yellow and getting Lychee-Mello would be quite a shock. Isn't the World of Coke great? The total Coca-Cola immersion/brainwashing/"resistance is futile you will be assimilated" environment is a real trip.

wow, all those flavors. makes me almost pee myself!

I love the hotel room picture. Great colors/exposure.

"there is more going on in ten square blocks of LES than in most cities around the world": How complacent that sounds.

Interesting to see you turn your camera on the ATL. After spending a week in NY over Thanksgiving, the hometown skyline looked downright puny on the ride home.

Wow, My wife and I was looking for some pictures of Atlanta because we now live in Egypt and just wanted to see some pictures of Atlanta. A littlehome sick I guess. Well to our surprise we found a picture of the exact spot where we first met over 8 years ago. Its the fourth picture from the top. With out a doubt that was the happiest day of our lives. So, thanks for the memory and the picture. ;)
