Thompson in Winter

Thompson is in full hibernation mode. His preferred hibernation places, in order: his cat hammock, the second floor of his cat tower, his cat igloo, under the bed, the arms of the couch, and the fur pad on the floor. [Related: all cat-related entries are now in the cat archives category.]

that mat you have the cat food on is classic. I need to get one.

yeah- the weird thing is that we got the mat because thompson never eats his food out of the bowl. we think it's b/c his face is so flat- he has trouble with the bowl's edge, and prefers to sort of scoop out the food and put it on the floor to eat. so we got the mat so he could eat on the floor without having to eat off the floor, but he's too clever for that- he just picks up the food, steps back like a couple of feet, and drops it on the tiles.

That is one hawt fluffy hairball.

Please hand over the cat - none of us want another Elian Gonzalez capture episode.

Myy cat does a similar thing...however...he comes to me when his food "clumps" up on the side of the bowl and will not give me any peace until I go in and move the food into the middle of the bowl for his ease of consumption. Obviously, I am easier to "train" than most humans....sigh....

PLEASE MAKE IT STOP

ugh, all my cats do that, knocking the food out of the bowl all over the place. it's not a flat-face thing; cats just despise us. they hate us all so much.
