February 14, 2004: At the Hudson
J0sh has always been a fan of the Ian Shrager hotels- last summer he rented a suite at the Mondrian in LA for a week, and he's been spotted at the Shore Club in Miami a number of times before. And this weekend, he rented a suite at the Hudson as a Valentine's present for his lady friend. A fan of hotel architecture, I invited myself over to the room to check out the amenities, and later, we went down to the bar to get a feel for the scene. Results? The hotel is well decorated in sort of a wood paneled way, but the scene is overcrowded with poseurs.

The bad thing about the Hudson is that gross old men inevitably hit on you. And that goes for lovely ladies and lads. But other than that, it's cool.
No offense to your friends, but why do they look like hookers?
Hookers?! I think they look sexy...especially, the one wearing gray boots. What`s her name, Jake?
