March 2, 2004: Outside DKNY, Thompson Street, 12am

Sometimes I'm glad that I carry my camera at all times, because at least once a week I stumble across a strangely beautiful scene like this. I know that these are just discarded ad posters for the DKNY Soho store, but there was something so stirring about finding them scattered on the street. The girl with the brown hair has a particularly abandoned look about her, which I thought went well with the scene.

Wow. Did you take any of the posters? They look kind of fun...
nah- my cat and my fiance would both get jealous if i brought home a poster with a hot girl on it.
Occasionally, I fall out of the habit of bringing my camera with me, and whenever I do, it seems like I always run across something unexpected like this. Note to self: always bring the damn camera!
Shouldn't you be in bed at 12am?
jake, this is great. You went beyond photography here... looks like you actually arranged the posters... imagine the effect if you had taken some of the girls for a night on the town...
just a thought...
