March 5, 2004: Thompson is Doing Well!
It's been an exciting couple of weeks for Thompson. He's doing great on his new hypoallergenic diet of duck and greenpeas, and he's gained about a pound! To celebrate, I bought him a couple of presents: a new cat tower (we gave the last one to my parents, because it was too tall and it turned out Thompson is scared of heights) and a catnip cigar (it was labelled "dangerously powerful catnip" and as you can see in one of the pictures, it really wigs him out). What's next for Thompson? Well, he's got a vet checkup next week, and we're already planning his first birthday party, tentatively scheduled for June. We hope you'll all come! Thanks for the update on Thompson. Glad to hear he's doing better and getting back to his fighting weight. He's so lucky to have such wonderful and caring parents who give him love, health and kitty doobies.
