The Seattle shots above didn't quite make the first cut- but some of them are interesting, so I decided to go back and work them through Photoshop. Some unrelated news: 1. I'm renting a manual focus shift/tilt lens from Alkit for the weekend. This kind of lens is specially build to avoid converging lines when doing architecture shots, so I'm going to try it out with some night shots downtown. 2. Some of you may have noticed that I'm tinkering with the Bluejake design. Mostly I'm just clarifying some UI/IA issues, and trying to reduce the design to the minimum possible level. 3. A tantalizing opportunity has emerged to visit the set of a certain prominent television crime drama- possibly more on that tomorrow.

You did a beautiful job of photographing my city. Thanks!!

If that crime drama is what I think it is the other half (or is it third now with Tien?) must be going crazy with anticipation.

Great shots as usual, although I think the first shot in this series is my favorite. All the shots you ever see of the Pike Place Market are from the regular touristy angles. I like seeing the parking lot, it makes it more of a "real" place to me.

ha- i can't give away any secrets- but needless to say, everyone is excited. we've been working on this visit for a couple of months- so i've got my fingers crossed so tight that i've lost all circulation.

Can`t wait to see those downtown photos. I`m wondering how that tilt/shift lens works. I want to buy one in the future and don`t know whether it`s worth its price.

amazing shots - makes me want to visit. definately let us know how the tilt/shift lens goes for you. i'm thinking of buying one - there's no places to rent one around here!

You have a good eye for photographing!Nice work!
