March 24, 2004: Thompson and Mingus
I don't normally do two cat posts in one week, but this is a special occasion. On Sunday, Thompson was reunited with his half-brother Mingus for the first time in about six months. They were fairly nervous at first, but after a little while they seemed to calm down and enjoy the visit. [Related: pictures from the previous visit]

Jake, look how happy thompson is to have a friend around. I think its your duty to get thompson a little brother or sister. He looks so active and happy.
i'd love to get another cat- but our apartment is only like 500 sqft, so it's going to have to wait until we move to a gigantic, sun filled loft in 2006. at least, that is my secret plan. which cat would i get? i'd like an english dark blue shorthair- b/c it would complement thompson's long gray fur very well.

Mingus is a couple months older.

Yes, less G-I issues, but Mingus can smell really poopier sometimes.
