I shot most of these pictures with a neutral density filter, which allows you to take longer exposures on the same aperture. It was probably unnecessary in this case, since I was able to go 15 seconds on F22 already, so going up to 30 seconds really didn't add much to the pictures. I'm curious about what other filters my photoblogger friends are using- right now I've got the ND, a circular polarizing filter, and a normal UV filter that I use as the default. Amazing colors, I really love the colors in this set of pictures.

Filter wise, I swear by the Cokin P series filters, but lately I've mostly stuck with ND and polarizing filters only, I tend to leave things more open because I like to tweak in PS later.

I really like working with a graduated light gray filter (Cokin 121 L) for day shots to help bring in some contrasts to the sky, I love clouds. I also have a light blue cooling (Cokin 023) and a light warming (Cokin 035) filter. I tend to stick to lighter filters than I'd use with film, I find that it corrects just enough for me to bring in more details, but not too much to be stuck with it if I decide I don't like the correction later.
