Tilt/Shift 4

There is more to the tilt/shift lens than architecture photography. For instance, I've heard that some people use the lens for doing macro work. In that case, you'd probably use more of the tilt function, playing around with the slant on the depth of field. I've also heard it can be good for close-up portrait work. You could place the camera flat on the table, facing the subject, and then use the shift to move the focus up to grab their face. No tripod necessary. Is there anything else that I missed? Anyway- I like the tilt/shift enough to buy it, for $1099 at Alkit. A high price, but it's a great lens, and since I'm going to stick with Canons for the foreseeable future, I should be able to use it for a long time to come.

Espensive lenses and Photoshop aside, how are you getting so much color information in the dark?

Lost now on the country miles in his cadillac.
I can tell by the way you smile he is rolling back.
