After I checked out the Hollywood Sign, I drove down the 101 to the Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. The Frank Gehry building is pretty spectacular- and much less flamboyant than the Experience Music Project in Seattle. I enjoyed walking around the balconies and gardens outside the museum, but unfortunately, the concert hall wasn't part of the tour. I guess to experience that, you need to pay the $75 for a ticket. After the tour, I walked down Grand to LA MOCA for the "A Minimal Future? Art as Object" show. Tomorrow: back to New York!

i was there back in january and thought that my pictures (with more photoshop altering than your pictures) didn't do the building justice. it's just a beautiful structure that sticks out from the buildings in the area.

I love the shot of the auditorium and chairs - the colorful chairs make it look like a kid's model version of the concert hall. Calling Gehry licensors!

Is it true he is going to design the new (Brooklyn) Nets stadium?

Nice series, Jake. Reflective surfaces are tough to deal with from an exposure standpoint. I particularly like the swooping one above the chairs.
