I'd nominate this little stretch of Spring between Bowery and Elizabeth as the best graffiti spot south of Houston Street- at least, in terms of paper-work graffiti. If I was still into painting, I'd go over there at 3am tonight and do an inverse piece- you know, paint the entire wall black, except for the letter areas, which would spell "JUGZWON ICF". You don't see enough negative space graffiti these days.

you don't see enough faces of mao these days.

very cool shots

Interesting that you found the "Thinking" paper-work graf. One of those surfaced in Park Slope on 3rd and 7th, next to Mojos, which I thought was a very odd place for a pasteup.

Hi
Great website!
I would like to use one of your photos for my book, "Help Your Child Build a Better Mind." The graffidi palimpsest is a good illustration for my discussion about the bombarding of the brain with information, it's like a palimpsest. If this OK, please tell me who I should credit.
Thanks for your help.
