July 14, 2004: Tribeca 1
Back in 1992, Manhattan was largely a mystery to me. I had been attending Stuyvesant since 1990, over in the beautiful, ramshackle building on 15th Street and 1st Avenue. I only knew the Manhattan immediately along the F and L train lines, which was basically the center part of Greenwich Village, part of Chelsea, and the area where Stuy was located. Then, in September of 1992, we moved into the new Stuyvesant, down in lower Tribeca on Chambers Street. Suddenly the city opened up to us- we quickly explored Tribeca, SoHo, the West Village- all of the places in the city I've now come to love. So Tribeca is really where it all began.

PECK
On the contrary! You're going to be held responsible.
PETER
No! We won't be held responsible!
PECK
Shut it off!
PETER
Don't shut it off. I'm warning you.
CON EDISON MAN
I - I've never seen anything like this before.
PECK
I'm not interested in your opinion, just shut it off.
PETER
stopping CON EDISON MAN
My friend, don't be a jerk.
POLICE CAPTAIN
Step aside!
PECK
If he does that again, you can shoot him.
POLICE CAPTAIN
You do your job, pencil neck! Don't tell me how to do mine!
PETER
Thank you, officer.
PECK
Shut it off!
PETER starts up stairs. EGON makes an explosion with his fingers in POLICE CAPTAIN's face, mouthing "Boom".
CON ED MAN pulls red lever. Alarms goes off. Lights flash.
DANA's apartment
DANA trembles.
Ghostbusters HQ; basement
Walls tremble. Bricks pop out. Everyone starts running.
CON EDISON MAN
Oh shit.
Ghostbusters HQ; entrance
Everyone runs like hell.
EGON
Clear the building!
Outside Ghostbusters HQ
LOUIS runs out. The door of the fire house is smoking. The roof explodes.
