August 1, 2004: Death in Coney Island 1
I am sad to report that these are the last pictures from my Canon G2- the camera died a quiet death sometime after I rode the Cyclone this past week. I have sent out for a replacement- a Canon G5- but it will be a long time until I love again. My Digital Rebel does not console me- I detect an extreme lack of warmth when I touch its icy plastic exterior. [Note to readers: beginning today, I am gradually fading out from my internet work until September 1st. I've got plenty of posts stored, but I won't be surfing, reading much email, or leaving comments for the next four weeks- have a great rest of the summer!]

Odd... my D70 blew up on Saturday, too. Literally went up in smoke. It's going out to Nikon this morning for fixing.
Jake, if you want to buy my G5 I have it up for sale... some guy on Ebay bought it but he's being a joker about paying.
