I can't think of anything else to write about the San Gennaro festival. [Unrelated: we're less than a week from the Photobloggers 2 event at the Apple Store Soho. If you have any suggestions on what you want people to speak about, leave them in the comments.]

The ones with blurry people, especially the second-last photo, have a great sense of movement and activity. The colours are terrific as well. Nice set of pictures!

What happened to the horse's head?!?!?!? Did you put in the bed of your most hated enemy? I love the zoned-out nature of workers and festival goers in photos 3 and 5.

i've heard of the headless horseman, but a headless horse?!
wakka wakka wakka.

Jake,
Question for you.....can anybody attend? Can like, newbies or curiousity seekers attend also?
Regards

Jake
I discovered your site last month and think it's great.
You've really managed to capture the true essence and atmosphere of the New York I know and love.
Thanks for inspiring me to dust of my camera and get back out there.
Oh and as for your comment the other week - keep with the format, one of the things I really love about your site is the rounded and detailed approach to the different areas and subjects.
