September 29, 2004: DUMBO 4
DUMBO is graffiti paradise- in my opinion, it has the highest concentration of interesting graf in the entire city. Some of my favorites are in huge abundance: Revs, Swoon, Mr. Rat, etc. It's like a huge open air museum that's constantly changing- and you've got pretty much every type of graffiti represented- tags, throwups, burners, sculptures, paste-ups, stickers, etc. Paradise indeed. [Unrelated: the site has been upgraded to MT3- but some problems remain with comments. Registration is now required for comments, mostly to fight comment spam. If you run into big problems, let me know.]

Re: comments -- I wonder if the registration requirement will cut down on the number of legit posters. I'll keep an eye on your site -- you can be my guinea pig! I f@#&ing hate the spam I have to every day on mine...
I went to a bookstore yesterday and saw a new New York City Map and so I purchased it and lo and behold right there where it should be was the word DUMBO!@! I couldn't believe it as it wasn't on the one I've had since 1992.

For some reason, the new comment registration doesn't like me! it doesn't seem to let me publish comments, or if it does, it returns an error message- are you getting the same thing?
The first time I had no problem, this time I am. Something about string line, etc.
Now it seems to be working but I had to post my second comment a few times before it would work. This is the error message: Use of uninitialized value in join or string at plugins/Blacklist/lib/Blacklist/App/Submission.pm line 477
