Gowanus in Autumn

I like Brooklyn in Autumn- it's probably my favorite season there. The light is bright from the south west- it illuminates all sorts of scenes and details that you miss the rest of the year. I caught these pictures on the west side of the Gowanus Canal on the way back to Manhattan from Red Hook. A bunch of them capture the dead end streets leading to the canal. The watertowers in the last picture are on top of the projects off Hoyt.
