November 28, 2004: Museum of Modern Art 2

MoMA has a pretty generous photography policy: you can take pictures for personal use, as long as you don't use a tripod or flash. I'm not sure if "personal use" covers photoblogging, but I don't expect any cease-and-desist letters from the trustees. I shot these on ISO200 and ISO400, mostly from the waist. I find that in low light situations, it's easier to balance the weight of the camera if you hold it right in front of your belly-button, and use the tension on the strap to hold it still. The articulating screen on the Canon G5 is very helpful for this- because you can flip it out and look down into it, just like a top-view camera.
