February 22, 2005: The Gates 6
My favorite part of The Gates is the reflections. If you want to find some good ones, I recommend four spots: the lakes down by the Southeast corner of the park, the lake by the boathouse, up at the Harlem meer in the Northeast corner of the park, and the sailboat pool just south of the Met. [Unrelated: two big announcements today! Jen got engaged! And Jason is going pro!]

These reflection pictures are great. The first one in particular, with that little bit of pink that draws your eye down to the bottom of the picture -- a good foil for the orange.
