March 28, 2005: DUMBO 8

I went down to DUMBO to collect some streetart, and while I was down there I decided to try out some 85mm shots. Unfortunately, I accidently underexposed the entire set by 2/3rds of an F-Stop, so these were the only ones that came out passably well. Let this be a lesson to you, friends! Always check the settings before every shot (at least F-Stop and shutter-speed; you're probably okay checking the ISO once per session.) It's probably a good idea to also leave your display in histogram mode- this way, when you are looking at the shots after you take them, you can glance at the histo for each one and make sure it looks normal.

I love checking your blog because I am from Queens, but I'm stuck in stupid Upstate New York at school. Thanks for bringing me a slice of home!
