March 30, 2005: Gowanus 6
On a windy, overcast day last week, I made my way down to the Gowanus and shot around with the 85mm lens. I walked from Douglass up to 9th on the West side of the canal, and then from 9th back to Douglass on the East side, occasionally hopping a fence or ducking under a gate to get closer to the water.

Ooh, a coyote howling at the Kentile Floors sign! (Okay, maybe it's just a dog...but still)
it was indeed a howling dog- along the south side of 2nd avenue around 7th street, on the east side of the canal. it was running around the roof and barking.
