Bluejake

I was supposed to meet up with my good friend Tien on Sunday to bike around Brooklyn. Sadly, at the appointed time, he was standing on the corner of Metropolitan Avenue, rather than Manhattan Avenue, as we had previously discussed. To make matters worse, my cellphone died at the exact same moment, and we were unable to find each other! Despondent, I biked back to the city, but along the way noticed all these hip looking kids in that abandoned lot near North 7th Street. Apparently it's quite the hangout spot on the weekends- kids were skating, sitting by the water, and tidying up the park in preparation for summer.
