May 7, 2005: MOMA 3
I went to MOMA to see the Thomas Demand show- it was extremely excellent, both as photography and as sculpture- definitely check it out. Afterwards I wandered around the museum for a bit, shooting portraits. It's funny: I've been to the new MOMA three or four times, but I'm still discovered new spaces, rooms, and staircases- it's really a very cool building.

Yup, totally amazing, I loved the trees in the back of the room. I loved the show and was very happy to see it. I go to MOMA regularly.
I came across your series while looking for information about one of your subjects, Washington Square Village. Your pictures touch me. I liked the differences in gold lighting of the big Village apartment complex. The fellow looking at the carp in the pond jumped out at me, but all the pictures work as a collection--the whole is a breath of fresh air.
