May 20, 2005: Eastern State Penitentiary
On Wednesday I was down in Philadelphia recruiting for Phillyist (if you are interested, send me an email!) Before the meetup, I had a couple of hours to explore around town. Of course, the first place I went was the hyper-spooky Eastern State prison over on the Northwest side of town. Lots of great picture taking in the giant, castle-like complex- if you are ever in Philly, I highly recommend it.

These are great shots. There's nothing quite like an abandoned building. Nice element of creepiness in these.
Wow. I assumed these were the abandoned prison that the R7 passes, but that's on the entirely opposite side of town. Philly certainly doesn't lack for abandoned prisons.
this prison is fun if you by youself. you will never remade it. the evil ghost will haunted you. but you mite bring 20 people to remade it. have fun and don't die by heart attack
this prison is cool but i find prison call charleston prison. it been around like 1865 in civil war 1. will i don't know what state it in. but i think you need to chick it out.
