June 16, 2005: Japan 3
There wasn't a great deal of graffiti in Tokyo or Kyoto- and the stuff I did see was mostly by Westerners- Neckface, Faile, Shepard, Jest, London Police, etc. The most productive neighborhood for streetart was probably Harajuku, but I also saw some stuff in Shinjuku and Shibuya. Are you sure foreigners came by and tagged up most of the place? I don't know any of the names you mentioned, but I do recall seeing a lot of everyone's favorite "engrish" when I was there. Have a look at this
