Bluejake

In the middle of the week we took the bullet train down to Kyoto, and spent a couple of days exploring the city. All of the temples and shrines were beautiful- my favorite was the Kiyomizu temple, up in the hills above Eastern Tokyo. At night, we had a classic Kyoto meal, served by geishas, at one of the restaurants overlooking the river (on the left in the top picture).
