Bluejake

The Deitch Gallery organized a crazy freak parade down Crosby, Grand, and Wooster on Saturday afternoon. We got there a little late- just as they were passing the corner of Wooster and Grand. It was a bizarre, amazing scene- lots of inflatable animals, people in costume, floats, and a marching band from one of the local schools. Plus ten thousand or so people crowding the sidewalks and streets to watch. Apparently this is going to be an annual thing-- a sort of Art Parade for NYC.
