Bluejake

I met up with Kelly Burns last week to get a peek at the new version of his I NY streetart book-- it's really quite amazing-- packed with like a million images of up-to-date streetart-- the sort of stuff I spend a lot of time photographing for Streetsy. Best of all, he even included one of the stencils I made during my short-lived painting career-- he spotted one of the last extant examples of it down in SoHo. It's the one on the upper-right-- it's actually the second stencil I ever cut (the first was an Andy Warhol portrait)-- way back in 1997. [This is my second appearance in a published book-- the first was Christmas Lights in 2003.]
