December 6, 2005: Woman Crossing The Brooklyn Bridge

Woman Crossing The Brooklyn Bridge

I snapped this picture of a woman walking to work on the Brooklyn Bridge a couple of months ago. It didn't belong with any other pictures, and I couldn't make a set from it. I just held it in the archives. I think today Bluejake has become a single shot photoblog-- it's time.

if you're going to go single picture, can you make your picture clickable to go to the next/last photo?

Hey Jake

I just wanted to tell you that I happened upon your site purely by accident while doing a search on Google for something totally unrelated. Although, have to say that it was a nice unexpected detour...

I enjoyed looking at your photographs... one, by one... until I just couldn't stop until I'd seen them all (an hour later). It's 12:41 AM CST and I'm bushed! I had no intention of staying up this late, but I enjoyed every moment of it.

I'm an artist... and for whatever it's worth... I wanted to take the time to tell you that I think You're a talented artist. Anyone can take pictures, but it takes a good eye and imagination to use that tool to express your vision to others.

I've never been to New York, but I feel like I got a see a side of it that I might not ever have gotten a chance to see otherwise.

Nice work man!

Please feel free to keep in touch. I hope I'll get the chance to meet you in person some day.

Hondo

PS: I'm going to bed now (yawwwwn!).
